Bath Remodel Lewes 2024 February

Bathroom Remodel. Lewes Delaware 2024 Jan.

Bathroom tear out and remodel with a lifetime warrantied schulter system. The original shower was leaking from a faulty install. Some issues found during tear out. The mud bed was sloped away from the drain. There was no waterproofing installed on the walls at all. the installer used 1/4 inch backer board which should be used only over top of subfloor and it was not adequately nailed, I only use screws to install backer. Some fasteners on this backer were 24 inches apart. I reused the original glass from the faulty install.

This homes floors were rotten. All the main beams were rotten. I jacked the house up 3 inches it was sinking. Replaced all the main beams and floor joists. Installed new subfloor to bring the building up to code
